COMPOSITES EUROPE 2014 sets records
The COMPOSITES EUROPE 2014 trade show in Düsseldorf earlier this month attracted 10,186 visitors, an increase of 25% on the previous event held in Düsseldorf in 2012.
419 exhibitors took part, an increase of 7% on 2012. (COMPOSITES EUROPE 2013 in Stuttgart attracted 9171 visitors and 406 exhibitors.)
The focus of the trade fair, lecture programme and concurrent AVK conference was on optimising processes that enable high-volume composites manufacturing.
Half (51%) of the visitors hailed from the automotive sector, followed by aerospace (28%), mechanical engineering, construction and wind energy.
45% of all COMPOSITES EUROPE visitors came from outside Germany.
